Out Of Our Minds Onto Paper!

If you are one of the thousands of people who suffer or have suffered from a mental/emotional disorder or traumatic experience and writing or drawing has been your savior; if you have bared your soul with pen in hand; if you have written or drawn raw to the bone; if you have used or use your creative self to release feelings of torment, fear, isolation, shame, frustration, loneliness, or any emotion, be assured that whatever spills/spilled from your mind onto paper has purpose, meaning, and reason.

Here is a space for you to share your poems, songs or stories. Years ago, the television show The Naked City told viewers, “There are eight million stories in the naked city. This has been one of them.” I know there are at least eight million stories waiting to be told and I hope you will share yours.

Anthropologist Margaret Mead once said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” I hope you will be part of the groundswell of people who choose to change the landscape of mental illness in the United States.

I encourage you to share for the benefit of others it is so important for people to know they are not alone in the universe!
